The following was posted on Pro Sound Web earlier today.
"After 43 days of fighting at 5:25 am Jerry passed away and has left us to go to that "better place" wherever that is.
The family thanks everyone for all the love and support for Jerry through this time.
A memorial for Jerry will be planned in the next couple months and all are invited to attend.
I will let you know.
I said my goodbye to Jerry this morning with Jen and Karin and Jerry had the most beautiful,
peaceful smirk/smile of pride and accomplishment it was truly amazing.
It was the sense of pride in the life's work he did that he would never talk about or show,
but today i saw it. Mike Fasano"

Jerry was a friend and an amazing talent. He'll be missed!

Earlier this month Jerry Finn suffered a massive brain hemorrhage.
Please say a prayer. Jerry has made a lot of great records and is a friend.

I just got back from attending a Reason Class.
Wow!
Very Powerful.
The class was at Promedia in Nashville.
The instructor Terron Darby is AWESOME!

Today around 2:15 PM....... I learned of the passing of a true genius, Joe Zawinul. A colleague brought me the story right off the AP wire. At first.... I was stunned and then my mind raced back to the end of 1991 and into the first 5 months of 1992. You see, I was at the Zawinul home for a New Year's party. Joe asked me if I was available to help finish the new Zawinul Syndicate LP titled "Lost Tribes". Are you kidding? Of course I was available. The next 5 months were an unbelievable education.
My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Zawinul family.
Their loss is indeed a loss for the entire world.
I lose a friend and teacher.
Joe gave me many things, including my first real gig in LA.
His impact on my life is not measurable.
And now some "Slivo" in Joe's honor. I miss you!

Finally It's Football Season! I have been beta testing a very cool new product for Notion. Look for Progression's release early this fall.
Winter 2007
I have not taken on any outside project in the last few months. After 27 years as an musician/engineer/producer, I have gone full circle and back to my roots as a musician. I am going to finish the many tracks I have started over the years.
Spring 2006
I was in NYC recording at Electric Lady. This is an exciting project for Notion Music. The project went very well.
